Quality riding out there today fellas, I was very tempted to join you today but the calling of the cruiser was too loud, fantastic day though, big thanks to everyone at daggers :daumenhoch:
-
Pleasure to follow you round, as i said on the other thread, you'll be a welcome addition to the old school.
-
Glen...honestly I am trying my best to resist.....how hard that is, but missus first time and camera...come on...everybody gets the gist, there...half resisited :LolLolLolLol:
sorry mate, terrible sense of humour..i really do need toget out a bit more :D
-
Glen you're not supposed to go and win, will have to withdraw that offer of lifts now
-
yep....he's fassssttTTT...can't wait till i get over the op next month and then full recovery, that shuold give Glen over a year to get race fitness back...then we should have some great duals between us all...but then i'm not gonna be race fit.....
-
:4_17_5: videos Glen, came out ok.....i know i tried to get some of my lad, and i couldn't do it...too busy trying to watch at same time, she's done a good job :daumenhoch:
sorry about the last corner, looks different on film, to what i saw at the time, guess i did brake too hard trying to leave you enough room to go above me, last thing i can afford is to hit the deck with my knee, so I can say in all honesty that was completely unintentional..sorry again Glen......you'll win plenty more watching that video shows that :daumenhoch:
What i did like, is it proves my theory....faster to jump then ride :4_17_5: roll on my new bionic knee :daumenhoch:
-
sound like you me and Big Kev40 had the same mentallity as teenagers, I had set myself a few goals for this year, prior to the injury, both step ups and middle doubles in second straight at Daggers and possibly triples at end of first straight at Herne Bay....them big ones at daggers look to unforgiving ..,. specially with work the next day.....
trouble is you know you could do it, but also know the consequences of coming up a bit short, not to mention possibility of a snapped old school frame......
i'll leave you to be the king of flying for a year or two :LolLolLolLol:
-
I think we both had the same Idea in that berm, brake and dive down - anyway its cool mate, thats racing :LolLolLolLol:
I agree, jumping is faster. When I raced in the past id clear everything if I could, thats just how I did it! Next time I go to Daggers I wanna clear that massive double before the second last turn, not in a race, just to see if I can >:D
the list of those that have cleared it is very short.....
-
Guess as we get older, we tend to risk assess stuff more often....
Si be more interesting to hear who's tried and didn't make it with a list of injuries and bike damage....put things into perspective :LolLolLolLol:
-
leave you to the glory for that one glen,
maybe one day, i'll dig out a blue lycra suit and my red y fronts with the blue S on the front, see if "super-Magoo" can find his wings again :LolLolLolLol:
-
:LolLolLolLol: PMSL....Glen you deffo have my sense of humour, nice on buddy :4_17_5:
-
the last person i saw attempt them was martin parker who rimmed them.... and he can jump most stuff
-
i said to magoo sunday i would have ago backwards first get the speed of the berm but hell it got to be done these old skool boys got to show these young pups its possible
-
You wanna do it Kev, go for it, just remember its my car you gonna be bleeding all over on the way home :LolLolLolLol:
-
its no bigger then rushenden kong back in the day
