I want to sell my PK ripper with chrome stamped threaded landing gear forks with headset and silver SE padset. No cracks, rewelds or damage, a few dings as can be expected from a bike of this age and being alloy. Not sure of year I think it could be 88? What would a reasonable price be? I was thinking £200 posted, what do you guys think?

ooh tempting
-
How come no one races PK's in O/S racing ???
-
had one for a very very very short time bitd, too much flex, and snap quite easily, and i was 3 stone lighter back then
-
I've heard a few people say they snaped/bent....so why are they so collectable... ???
I personally think they look :smitten:
-
collectable probs cos not many survived a really decent thrashing then :LolLolLolLol:

Think that's more an early 90's one with the pitbull hole and downtube cableguides, damn nice frame !

ive spent loads this month if its still for sale on the 25th i,ll take it :)
bet it aint though :(
-
You're right, serials are useless for dating this gen. of PK
Yours appear to be a standard one, the XL from the same era had one extra inch (20.5 TT)
-
I'd still like to buy the forks Glen - If anyone else wants to buy just the frame?
Cheers
Dan

that ripper is a lot stronger than the 80s one and probs one of
the best 90s race bikes out, had one for 15 year
its been rode hard , (no cracks) ;)

:)^^^^^^^^What he said^^^^^^^^ :)
Totally different, top tube-seat tube- seat stay junction to the early 80's PK.
And because I'm tanked on cheap beer from Asda, here's my 90's model
