It's a medium pro orb. With that crank/stem/clamp it's a medium pro. I got the mini pro with the threaded euro bb and all the same bits, but that is deffo a medium pro. Nice find, better than a silver streek or viper/pacer/hotstreak. They made em until 1981/82 then they went all silverstreak. I think that is 90% original too. The last ones in 82 got stickered as silverstreaks before the silverstreak became it's own bike. All this info i got off Ramon who was friends with Sandy R.I.P. while i was researching about my mini DB. I am too heavy to ride my mini, something about being 80+ pounds above the rider weight limit. Get some snake decals and you almost done. The senior pro is almost identical to a leary turbo and a real nice bike. Still reckon there should be a serial on the dropout of fork and bike. have you looked on the inside??
-
I can see part of the serial on the inside of the left dropout???

cant really nip out to have a look as the bike is in New Zealand with my brother :)
I told him to look inside the drop too.....
Nice though, cheers Sir Townshend.
-
I thought it was a good buy. Thanks for all the responce dudes
I have looked all over and there doesnt seem to be any numbers on it at all. I find that a bit strange.
It will look cool as when I polish it up and put some graphics on it
Cheers

Cool find, looks very close to stock. I was looking at an early booklet from Diamond Back on Saturday night and that bike is in it. Post some pics when it's all dolled up :daumenhoch:

Interested me too, cos the person taking the photo is just about to get hit across the back of the head by a person holding a rather large leg of lamb!
-
Anychance anyone can show me what the correct decals for it are?
I presume its the snakey ones we need?
Anyone care to hook your fav site owners brother out?
lol

Probably just rang to make sure the clobberer didn't run off with the bike
