Those are in the calender then.
-
Can't wait to start racing again, though I think I'm gonna miss the first one cos I'll be on holiday.
-
Bit concerned about Peckham as Tracy over on talk says she
didnt even know they had one.
-
No need to worry Kev. They put on a bloody good show for the winter regional.
Track's not ideal for a summer regional (and parking might be a bit of a nightmare), but Peckham will run a good event on pure adrenalin, grass roots passion and one love for BMX.
I was sceptical before the winter regional whether such limited facilities could handle a bigger event than their usual fun days. I'm not now. Peckham will make it happen.
-
And I hopefully will enjoy it if you promise not to smash me off the track michael wong lol
-
I'll try not to Lee, but no promises ;)
I'm toughening up for 09. No more Mr Nice Guy :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
see Brixton missed out this year, shame they put on a good one last year
-
Agreed Si. Brixton was one of my faves last year. Maybe they didn't want the hassle of running a regional this year.
-
maybe they didnt get asked?? was a shame as the whole community did seem to get behind it with the Mayor turning up etc, shame to lose that momentum... maybe thats passed to Peckham... whatevers happened, a regional under 30 mins away is always a brucie bonus.
wont miss their gate though or first straight, both were shockers (but repairable) but they did have the berms totally dialled! ahem. :LolLolLolLol:

All of the Clubs in the region were asked Simon.

Talking with my old school head on for a minute but without doubt Brixton was my favourite meet of last year. Extremely well organised, very family friendly and after the first set of doubles a very good track as well. Excellent viewing for spectators as well.
True the start gate and first doubles weren't the best but they could have been sorted easily enough. Shame they didn't want a regional this year though. fingers crossed they'll be back in '10.
