the seat post tube has bent back in to position rather well so the mig welder will be out tomorrow to strengthen the splits, dress and then ready to powder (http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/jj262/lambrettalee/001.jpg)

dunno mate, got a yellow on the go so will see if it comes back from the powdercoaters the yellow ive asked for... pos red,white,something boring!!, was great to get that post out :)

mine looked the same as that but was hit into the seat tube so a tad harder to get out lol
but well done another saved from the scrapper

i inserted another post this evening and it fell in no problem ,i reckon the post that i got out was "hammered" in to get it to fit, hence being a right bastard to get out ...

I remember that bike - did look nice but i remember he wanted crazy money for it - seem to recall the mad fooker powdercoated it with the BB cups still in :LolLolLolLol:

yeah the black forks look really nice , just got a nos set of original mongoose chrome forks so it looks like a change of plan again, also a pair of new old stock IRC knobbly tyres hit the mat from the states today dated what looks like 1980 so they will be fitted as well...
