Dad just built up my new Dialled Bikes MX24r cruiser and I am amazed how well it has come out. Still needs seatclamp as my old cruiser frame had a different size but will be getting shortly. Weighs just 24lbs which considering my old cruiser with an aluminium frame was 23lbs is really good, plus its stronger. Can't wait to ride it!

PS: I have also put on the large side stickers but did not want to take another photo. There is also my a picture of my Dialled Holeshot and all three of my Dialled's on page 3.

Nice one James/Alan :daumenhoch:
Think it would look better without the SINZ fork stickers and some red Profile chain tensioners and a seat clamp. Get your wallet out again Alan :LolLolLolLol:
-
SWEET :smitten: :smitten: :Great_Britain:
-
Awesome :coolsmiley:
Any seatclamp involved or is it a wedgemod ???....Or is a case of 27.2 post and the normal 31.6/8 not fitting cos its steel, I had the same thing recently, needed a 30.0 clamp
Well done Team Dialled/Humps :daumenhoch:
-
Thats very nice James :daumenhoch:
-
That is cool 8)
What's cooler still is that your dad built it :daumenhoch:

Good shout :daumenhoch:
As a Dad I must say the best bit about having kids in this sport is tinkering with the bikes, I'd build one every weekend if i could.
-
James get those pics on the 'i ride a dialled bike' facebook page.
Good lad!
-
I am not sure if he likes building bikes or not, he gets frustrated easily. And to Dark Diggler, it is a 30mm seatclamp and I am waiting for Mark at Groove's Hope stock to come in.

Yes I enjoy building bikes. Yes I get frustrated by stoopid kids that don't know how to put brakes on the lugs properly by now. And using a bedroom as a workshop just didn't work as there's nowhere to hold the bike rigid. So, it was back out
in the freezing cold in the garage with my adapted B&D Workmate bench to set it all up on. I'm quite happy with the build but need some new chainring bolts as these ones, Sinz I think, have a torx drive fixing that I can't find in my toolkit and the back screws won't work with a Shimano tool to tighten them - Crupi bolts it will have to be I think. Good practice run for when I build mine and Matt's MX24R's soon which will have all new parts so might even be easier than James's one. Humps
PS: Message to Gary72 - wallet fast running out of pennies!! ;)

Nice one James, that is one sweet bike you got there, I bet you cant wait to give it a good thrashing!
There is certainly going to be a few dialled cruisers around this season. Who is going to build the best one?

I need to wear shades to view Crooch's pics (but I always wear Oakleys anyway, even indoors and to bed, so it was fine).
Alan, did I not give you and James enough frame stickers? If not, I will bring some to Daggers on Sunday (plus the all important Reynolds 853 sticker).
-
Even without seeing everyone elses I can tell you that Croochs wins hands down. It's a work of art and woould look just as nice on the wall as it would on the track.
-
Aw shucks ..... Cheers man

Sweet as lil humps, I love red on white. Spot on.

That's sweet!! I thought the colour looked good at SBD's on the sample I saw. Can't wait to see it in daylight for the true effect. Nice one, Simon. :daumenhoch: Humps
PS: Mike, I'm OK for stickers thanks but James wanted it without to start with but may add them later. Are you doing a bar-coded MX24R sticker??

Not got round to doing any model name stickers yet. Might just go with the dialled bikes stickers for now as this is the only BMX frame in the line up at the moment anyway.

Thanks for being so loyal to the dialled bikes brand :daumenhoch:

No problem Mike, I go for quality and that it was I get with your frames. :)
-
Well set up too. Pretty much the same ride height on all 3 bikes :daumenhoch:
-
Yeh, that height seems to suit me. Glad I went for the bigger size though as it still feels a little odd because it is smaller then my old frame but I will get used to it quickly.
