i'm in the process of giving my Hyper Metro a revamp......i've moved the Pittbull to the chainstays and got Del to do me a few new decals for her........i know it's not era correct to put new flights on her but she's a rider so they'll be fine. i've got new wheels coming, new tyres (drying in the bath after a good clean) new red TNT seat clamp and profile stem on there way........and a NOS padset being sent from the states as we speak.
really looking forward to getting this done :daumenhoch:
anyone see the simularities ('spelling) to the Limo and dare i say it (shot down in flames here) the S&M frame? well front triangle and BB anyways :daumenhoch:

guess i'm gonna have to move my brake too now, woulda been so easy if i realised to take that dooo-dah off the top of it...
looking forward to seeing the finished article :4_17_5:

That looks lush so far Mr P :daumenhoch: Can you run the brake without the spacer underneath? it will make for a more solid brake if it's sat flush on top of the chainstays imho but I can't see if the cable will run through the seat tube properly with the brake lower down?
-
cheers, i thought about that and wondered if i should leave the spacer in?? i was a little worried about marking the chrome on the chainstays though with the brake caliper? :-\
-
looking good,

cheers Joe, yeah the TT is 21.5" but as i'm 6' 2" it's nice and comfy :daumenhoch:

cheers, i thought about that and wondered if i should leave the spacer in?? i was a little worried about marking the chrome on the chainstays though with the brake caliper? :-\
I'd defo run it flush, the chrome may wear a little over time but that's a small price to pay for a much more dialled brake imo :daumenhoch: up to you matey ;)
-
Will deffo change it then guys....cheers :daumenhoch:
