But i have, what some may think is a stupid question.... :(
If i leave black skyways soaking in bleach will they go a funny colour? will they go grey? or white? I presume because the plastic is a solid then it will not bleach all the way through, just on the surface, i am just wondering if its possible bleach black skyways to make them blue....
anybody done this? thanks.... sam

No, no, no! Keep the black ones black and save up for a pair of blue ones :daumenhoch:

you can get alloy covers.....
white will dye blue, but white are also pretty pricey.
id be careful what paint you used. Id go for a vinyllcote type, frost restoration sells it i think, its meant for respraying vinyl seats in cars, and its extremely hard wearing.
