Hey all , i`m getting a wheel with a hub that has a 30mm thread for the freewheel , its the old style , not a driver type as on new school hubs ...what is the smallest size freewheel i`ll be able to fit on it ..i`ve seen 14 tooth ones on ebay that will go on but does anyone know if i can get a 13? ..will this be ok if i run a 14 tooth freewheel with a 30 tooth chainring ? :idiot2:
Cheers in advance :daumenhoch: , Dave

wouldve thought a 38 or 39 with a 14t back would be best :daumenhoch:

Dave,
I think DK and Odyssey both make 13T freewheels.
Dunno how handy they would be to get tho...

Odyssey do a readily available 13t, LHD or RHD. expect to pay 15-20 squid
DNP do a 13T too for about a tenner, http://www.ison-distribution.com/ison/english/product.php?part=FWDP13H

DK did make a 12T freewheel but it was withdrawn from sale for some reason

......30-12 ratio then , and i wouldn`t need to change the sprocket ( i kinda like it ;D) it seems like a good price for a cassette wheel ? are they any good ? mind you i`ll not be pushing it that much :2funny: , i`m not that rad!! :( or should i go down the 33-13 route? :idiot2: confused now ...your thoughts lads :4_17_5:

44-16 41-15 39-14 36-13 33-12 30-11 28-10 25-9 all roughly the same, hope this helps.
