when you say dented mate ,how bad is it as you can not "fill" a frame or forks with conventional car filler and powder coat it, as it wont take to the filler, you will need to lead load it or get it wet painted if you go the body filler route...
-
you carnt powder coat over filler .......... the filler carnt handle the heat of a powder oven it pops when the temp gets high

You might be able to get a good welder to build the area up and then file it back to shape. I haven't had to do it on a bike but have restored an old kart chassis like this.
Depends how big the dents are, and it might affect the strength of the tube if you are going to ride it.

dents can also be filled with braze and then reshaped, also this way there will be no chance of burn through. :daumenhoch:

braze can be chromed over no probs. ;) can be powdered over as well.

I forgot about brazing. Probably safer, I just used the welder as I have a mig already.
One thing to watch if the dents are big is that they will probably have mis-shaped the tube. I can't explain it easily but where the dent goes in it forces the tube out either side of it. Not quite sure how you could do it but it might be possible to pull the dent out.
