Title: Tuff nuts.
Post by: flat spot on March 04, 2009, 07:30 PM: Just got my new tuffs delivered but while I've been waiting I've been looking for some gold dome nuts.

Can't see any anywhere. Do any of you guys know where I could source some?

I emailed Skyway and asked what the tpi on the rear axle was, the response was " I think they're 24"

you would think if anyone would know for sure it would be the company that makes em'!

it's also annoying that you can't find out the tpi of the nuts! the shops react like it's a stupid question when you ask. :angrysoapbox:

Post by: flat spot on March 06, 2009, 01:27 PM: Just counted and it does look like they're 24 tpi. On other sites it mention US size is likely to be 3/8 (an a pm I received also mentioned 3/8) so that's what I'll go for. 24tpi-3/8.

Now to find some.

do they have the 14mm rear axle?

Mine, the coaster version, have 2x10mm

Damn, so are mine. I only checked 1 wheel. It never occured to me they would be different sizes. :idiot2:
