Had some non matching Dia Compe brake components and decided to give them an Oven Pride make-over :)
Started as - Gold used DC1020, faded used bare DC890 and a pare of pretty decent DC pre-bent levers in blue :

Gave them all (apart from the bare 890) a good rub over with oven pride an let it soak in........ kept working them with the rubber gloves (pardon !) :

Finally gave them all a very quick polish with autosol and voila :

I reckon a bit more polishing is needed and the 1020 might need another quick dose of oven pride as there are a few bits remaining but not bad for 20mins work :)

Get them on a polishing wheel and bling them up :daumenhoch:

how long did you leave the oven pride on for?
i need to do some rims.... :)

Didn't go for the "in-the-bag" method - went for the "apply-with-gloves" method...... so i could keep an eye on what was going on !
Didn't take long at all - just kept rubbing all-over every 30 seconds or so, soon comes off :daumenhoch:
