greg take one side off if its got a hole for the spring its the canti ones if no hole then normal ad brakes lol
-
they are cantis mate
used to be popular-ish in the late ninties
i run a canti on the front of my flatland bike for a while
you can run v brakes instead
or get a straddle cable and run the cantis. they should work ok
dont forget you will need a v brake lever
-
hi mate thanks for the info .does the straddle cable just float ?how do you adjust /set the brake up as there is no tension adjuster on there ?
-
yup it just floats
there should be an anchor point further up. sometimes there is an adjuster there. or use the lever as the adjuster
you may need an anchor that attaches to the brake bridge
-
whats the anchor please .link to anyone selling em ?dont ask for much do i lol
-
I don't think AD's will fit this frame as the lugs are lower on the rear stay . . . AD's will not give enough rear wheel clearance and scrub the rear tyre
-
no idea who sells them
find a moutainbike shop i reckon
