I've got some 1.75" Araya 7X rims coming to me from Ian on this site for a Kuwahara Laserlite - I notice that Comp 3's are generally a bit more available in 1.5" sizes.
Anyone got any ideas what these would look like on a show bike (if I build it like that) or would they be any good for racing (as it's more likely the bike wil be built into a rider).
Any thoughts welcome!

Nice! Answers that one nicely!
I quite like the look of the 1.5" tyres - they look a little bit racier to me so hopefully that will suit the Laserlite!
Thanks muchly!

They do look really good - mind made up methinks!
What brand should I be looking for to keep in with 1983 - I've seen some Tioga's on the Bay and suchlike for about £40. I think Alans has some on his site for a similar price.
Are these a decent enough?
I've given up trying to find the ones the Laserlite can with standard - they are made of unobtainum as far as I can tell!

you wont find laserlite tyres from day to day searching.
blue/green comp 3's are available from www.vert-ego.com for 35 quid a set :daumenhoch:

Anyone got any pics with Tuffs or are they better with spokes? Was gonna stick a 1.5/1.75 combo on my TA with the Tuffs, but might stick them on my quad instead that has z rims and use the 1.75/2.125 on the TA?

ive been using 1.5's on 1.75's all the time, comp 3's in 1.5 are cheaper and easy to get hold off :daumenhoch:

they look good on tuffs too.
they take some of the bulk out of how the wheel looks if that makes sense
