Title: SUPERBIKEDAN S&M LAF
Post by: generallee on March 12, 2009, 02:38 PM: SuperbikeDan has done me the best 'paint' job he's ever done for me - and it's made me fall in love all over agian with my old frame.
I had an LTF built up, but still missed my old LAF - just preferred the angles - so Dan took my tatty old clearcoat red - and carefully removed it, leaving me with perfect raw tubes - and then clearcoated them for protection - and the result is stunning - Ive always lusted after Joe's raw xl laf, and nowm I have a shorter version of my own, hope you dont mind Joe!
I even found a stickerset online, and added the all important Old Fools decal by Del...

Yeah, I dont really like them either. I think the black on clear looks better than the pink on black that I had. I took them off.
Steve, have you seen the new headtube badges on the Striker frames? :smitten:

I quite like the headtube stickers as they remind me of my first LAF where they fell off within one month! Just thought Id put them on and wait for them to drop off again.
The clearcoat red was nice but utterly fooked - so thought Id spice it up a bit by making it NAKED.
This is now my only bike! Not riding a dirtbike, not riding an LTF, just this. And tonight, im going to have my way with it. Neptune will be so jealous. >:D

The LTF and Dirtbike I have - though the dirtbike maybe going to a rad member - and the LTF is on the wall right now...

Here's my one. It came in the post a few weeks ago. Its a metal badge that BOLTS to the headtube on Stricker frames. I didnt bother drilling and tapping my LAF frame, I used a zip tie.
