Title: Black Dia compe finish? Is it paint?
Post by: Bettyswallocks on March 12, 2009, 09:04 PM
I've a black hinged dc seatclamp i wanna strip, am i right in thinking the black finish is paint rather than annodised?

Whats the best thing to use to strip without damaging the alloy?

Thought i'd ask before attacking it with nitromors...  :D

Its got a fair few scratches and ive got silver dc brakes so thought stripping it was the best plan

I've had my pants pulled down swapping summat on ere in the past, so swaps aint an option

Anyone got an answer on its finish?
