so ive spent ages tonight trying to get the dam crank arm off a 09 24" quadangle
and it aint budging >:( >:(
ive removed loads of cranks but this one just wont shift?
its the profile type axle, has anyone got any good tips i may
not know about?
my mum says i should rub butter on it ::) ::) :2funny:

Few squirts of GT85,use a crank puller if you have one.
-
aint got a puller :-[
never needed one ???
-
piccy of the offending arm please, if the crank arm is threaded where the bolt came from then you need a crank puller as James says, if it is not threaded (like profiles) then you need a profile installation/removal tool (about £5 from custom riders)

profile removal tool dwain ,i know how stuck yours is but i could get that off in 20 seconds with one
you screw it in then bash hard as hell to the end of the bolt and it will slide off nicely.

ARRGHH crap wanted it off tonight :-[ :-[
dont suppose there is a way without the puller is there??
im an impatient git :-\
-
drift it out with an extention bar dwain as long as its narrower than the inside of the crank arm
beat the hell out of that
-
been hammering all night ;) ;)
will have to get a puller :-\
is this the one :)

yep but you dont pull it of with that you screw the arm on to the spindle with it
or screw it fully in and bash the thing to push the spindle out.
-
finally sorted it ;)
after wellying it with a hammer as big as my head
and taking a run at it :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
really didnt like the cheap looking spider so went for a power disk ;) ;)
