Title: White Grips a little off colour
Post by: Brandy Truffle on March 18, 2009, 11:21 AM
Finally got me a set of AME's Duals i have been after for nearly 2 years...trouble is they are a little creamy in colour on the main white body...I'm sure this has been discussed before but i searched for half an hour and couldnt find....

Is there any way i can restore to full bright white again? Seem to remember Bleach, washing etc.

So far i soaked them in hot water with washing powder for an hour, sprayed them with CIF lemon oven cleaner and sat for 15mins and also put them through the washing machine gentle wash for a quick one..... resilient li' buggers these  ;D

Now they are super clean, but still have a slight creamy tinge to them.... Any suggestions?

My white mushrooms where a nause so I wet them and massaged in a couple of the cubes you put in the washer like surf, persil, etc left em over night then stuck in the washer with a light wash..think the abrasion off the clothes helps compared to an empty washer. J
