Need i say more.
:Aresehole:
-
Oh dear :'(
-
jesus, they must have really chucked that about :wtf: :'(
-
ffs, tipp-ex .... be reet :daumenhoch:
-
NOS ?
-
I'd bet they loaded a shedload of shit on top of it and due to it not being properly wrapped inside the box its just torn through...
What frame is it? ...looks TA-ish
Bloody carriers are useless.
Ray.
-
:-\ oops
-
OOps. Typical of carriers. Gutted for ya mate. Hope it wer'nt valuable!
-
Not so NOS ta !
Bugger ???
-
It's not the carriers fault...it was packed shyt. People should know better when sending frame and forks.
I bought an immaculate Redline PL20 Frame & Fork from the U.S. late last year - arrived in the same state only the rear dropouts were bent in 30degrees and the chrome peeled off under the force. To see my face when they got to my door and i saw those dropouts popping out the box... :'(
That frame had survived over 25 years as almost NOS before some idiot just threw it in a box with a bit of bubble wrap and hoped for the best. :uglystupid2:
I know how you feel Nick.
-
:tickedoff: :'( :knuppel2:
-
Original condition TA. Not NOS. Came from USA. Didnt even bubble wrap the drops or headset. :'(
-
Holy shit Nick sorry to see that :'( I had the same thing happen to me on several parts over the years, with a headtube bent right in from not being wrapped up, Axles sticking out of the boxes and scuffing alloy hubbed tuffs and also a GT Pro Performer, near nos condition in white, not wrapped just thrown in a box and shipped over from the states, it was a mess when I opened it up :tickedoff: :2gunsfiring_v1: fookers
-
I would be pi$$ed off too, those dropouts could have hurt the poor postmans leg
-
Doesn't look completely destroyed though, just paint chips, uh ?
-
Just paint chips but i was told it was mint and it is apart from that! :'(
-
Man, that is gutting, thought it was the one you were getting Dan to powder for a minute.
Still could have been worse, hows this for packaging a bike up well to protect from potential damage during transit?
Luckily it wasnt anything too valuable, imagine if they were Hutch pedals, or Skyway graphites and you had a post man with sticky fingers (and a bit of BMX knowledge).
Believe it or not, this is how it arrived at my work...lol

Danny - that's the funniest thing I've seen since Pete's big belly. LMFAO.
Nick - sorry to see that happen dude, the seller is at fault there though it should have been packed properly. What a twonk.
-
That's terrible, I'd have put a couple broken bricks in the box too ;D
-
shows us it without the box then munners
-
Box is too good !
I would have sent it in a bin liner ! :daumenhoch:
-
I got a complete caravan tow hitch delivered to me today. It was completely wrapped in a fluffy towel, cable tied and bubblewrapped....fully armoured ;D
As for your frame, its six of one and 1/2 dozen of the other as to whose fault it was...the seller for shitty wrapping and the carrier for not taking more care of the item.
Ray.

PM'd Danny Re that big brown seat.
-
That is a real bummer Nick, if you got it off eBay I'd be considering a feedback message :2gunsfiring_v1:.
-
I recently bought a new set of tuffs from an internet vendor based somewhere around the Corby area.
they arrived, No box! No bubble wrap! just stuck together with masking tape,
frickin' twat!!!

Your reply is a bit harsh mate. Tip Ex ain't the solution here as it'll look pants, especially as Nick's bikes are always minty, i'm sure he wouldn't want that type of finish on them as it'll never match up with the original paint. Nick expected the frame in the condition it was described and was just pointing out how shite people can be with sending stuff. He has every right to be annoyed.
