The weather has begun to warm up here Michigan. So after work, I took my bikes out for pictures. Check 'em out.
Me Holmes. My main ride.

My "Feel My Leg Muscles" Dirt Bike build. Survivor with updated cranks and rear wheel. Note the early Slams.

My Wife's Chocolate Dirt Bike. It's a combination of my mid school values and her desire for "cute" colors and comfort.

 very nice...

Very nice bikes there Miko :smitten:

Way to go Miko, those look great.
They dont look like they are "show" bikes, just real bikes of the time.
Love the first 2 dritbikes. They are pretty much like the first 2 S&Ms I rode. I even had many of the same parts on mine.

What a cool line up :daumenhoch:
Like Alex said they look like real riders from back in the day, not just show ponies. I especially like the yellow DB, cool attention to detail on that with the small VSW sticker on the stem, top marks!

Thanks for the comments, guys. I built them as I would in 1991-1995. Plain, simple bikes with good parts. Not the best, because who can afford to break the best?
The yellow one is pretty much a cleaned up survivor. The cranks were 1-piece Tioga Task Force that were sickly bent, the back wheel was totally flat-spotted, the brake lever was toast, and the seat was an ugly mountain bike seat. I put on the GT Profiles, 45T Tiger Teeth, and JP pedals. Next, I swapped out the grips, brake lever and cable. The back wheel and tire are temporary. I found a used chrome 48H Araya 7X to lace to the bike's original Suzue hub. Just need the money to do that.
The Chocolate Dirt Bike isn't my style, but it makes my wife happy. The Holmes will get a refinish when I can find some Moliterno decals for it. I had an orange one years ago, loved that bike.
The toughest part lies ahead. I have to fund a non-BMX related project very soon, which means I have to pick one of these to sell. I love them all, I really do. It's a lousy position to be in.

Haha, you could well have sent me those scans. I have also got measured photos of the decals if you need them.
Send Del a PM. I think the cost depends on the decal, and the amount you get done. (I might be interested in getting one done)

it's pretty f*ckin cool, s&m definitely had the best graphics whilst standard's down right sucked imo
I loved all that S&M vs Standard stuff

The Moliterno decals are just about my favorites. Although, the blubbery Heavy as fook graphics are pretty hilarious. You can almost see them jiggle. :LolLolLolLol:
