Title: Skyway Tuff Brake Pads... I just Don't understand.
Post by: Brandy Truffle on March 19, 2009, 06:27 PM
Ok, so Skyway selling shed loads over last couple years of the TUFFs and very nice too...

On ebay there seems to be an abundance of various different colour pads....except WHITE  :-[

I need 2..just 2 to finish a build, is this an impossible task..i seem to have been looking for an age with no luck.

I got white freestyle pads, i got white pro tuff pads...but i cant find a decent set white normal ones..

Does anyone know if they plan to re-issue?

Most early tuffs back in the day were black and white. The colours you see now available are all later 80's pinks and greens etc.

My local bike shop said he never stopped using white and black skyway pads until he ran out in the early 90's.

They are a consumable bike part so most shops just put them on other bikes that were in for a service.

Thats why they are a killer to get.

Im sure there are some white ones on US ebay. I think that Haney was selling a pair.
