i think its a 2006 .also im a bit shit with all this,is it a mid bottom bracket?

It looks like one of the GTs that were only sold in Halfords (2006 or 2007 I think - quite a few people bought them cos they were cheap). If it has 14mm wheel axles, it is.
It's a Euro BB, not a mid BB.

No probs. Adequate starter bike, but seen/heard of a few of them snapping at the head tube (there was a vid posted recently of one going in a race - Bof will remember it as he was in the race), so keep an eye on that. Once you start upping your game, consider upgrading your frame.

Good idea Matt. The way you ride (hard/committed) you're more likely to kill that frame than most.
