I bought two survivors this year with the intention of doing a rider for the summer. A CW and a TA.
I intended to keep the CW but i sold the frame and forks and kept all the nice parts that were on it as i found a TA on the bay. The TA was in an awful state.
I cleaned it up the best i could and now i have a summer ride built from survivor parts. Its a dream to ride and looks old skool and old! :LolLolLolLol:

Good work Nick...
Just my opinion...but for me the seat and post don't really go with the rest of it...
Ray.

You kept the chrome then, thought this was a defo powder job, but you have saved it. Until I saw the forks, I didnt the think it was the same frame.
Agreed about the seat though, not sure it goes, but rest is spot on for a rider (apart from it needs black grips). :)
-
The seat was on it so i used it. Aint my fav either. Comfortable though whereas Kashi Aeros aint! :LolLolLolLol:
Ive seen alot of old skool freestylers in mags lately with Uni seats.

Original decals but replaced the True temper one as it was fooked!! May jusy peel that off though.
All my framesets are original apart from my Performer. Would never find a NOS yellow 84. :LolLolLolLol:
The bike was from the Isle of Sheppy. Left outside for years getting plastered by the sea air! :D :D The bloke had a Leary too that was nicked 5 months ago. They left this as it looked a state!
Was in a state but it looks a true survivor now. Love it. Drops are perfect apart from a slight crush on the rear bridge that you cant see when built.

:4_17_5: I love a survivor ride :smitten:

Phwoar. Can I have a go? :smitten:
