Title: 3 Piece or 1 Piece
Post by: Daletsunami on April 09, 2009, 09:33 AM
I'm trying to make my mind up on a race build i'm doing and i'm not sure whether to go with a 3 piece or 1 piece crank?

Any good or bad advice on both with regards to racing?

What bike you running it on. I do prefer 1 peice... so much less hassle to fit ::) ::)

i prefer a good 3 piece, which in my experience are a piece of p*ss to fit.

if it's a show bike then i like both and a good 1 piece can look better than a 3 piece at times.....but for a rider, a 3 piece is much more durable  :daumenhoch:

If I get a better frame for MK then i'll go three peice so if anyone wants to do trades on a minty NOS-look Sugino cr-mo 1 peice then let me know... these cranks look the dogs on T/A's!! :daumenhoch:
