Title: Hoffman Generator Rims
Post by: haro-os-boy on April 10, 2009, 06:01 PM

Thinking of getting some Hoffman Generator Rims.

Anyone got these, had these, used these, any info? What's the braking like with them?

Thanks peeps.

i've been running the same hoffman generater rims in chrome for 10 years now. pretty lite and strong enough for sure. braking excellent with fly brakes & chrome rims.

Been running a black one the rear for a few months, braking is good with demolition white pads.
Not worn through the anodising yet either. As above, its a rim, round, fairly strong if laced well.
Got mine for 20 quid from winstanleys.

Fashion would dictate one of each, matching rims is sooooo old school daahling !!

Bru,  I was wondering if the quality had dropped over 10 years.  Are generator rims now the same as then?

I love a drop of Hoffman as you know, any good excuse to run some of his stuff again and I'm all over it  :daumenhoch:
