Title: GHP F&F ID on EBAY
Post by: martsz on April 13, 2009, 09:58 PM
Showing a lack of knowledge here but this f&f doesn't look like a GHP as in the the rear triangle seat stays aint like my 92.
Looks lovely, but???
Heres the link, give me your wisdom fellas. All info welcome.

Made by ELF for Greg Hill, they did a run of 100 frame sets only, they fooked up the seat stays and ran of out tubing for the forks, so you get ELF forks with GHP stickers on a frame that's made wrong...  sweet ;D

those forks look awesome tho  :daumenhoch: i have now seen this and R Als version with the correct brake stays and rear drops but i was watching one a while a go with proper GHP rear drops n same stays as this, so there is at least 3 variations of frame out there and these forks n elf forks, all nice tho  :daumenhoch:

It looks a very nice F&F, but the seller seems to think it is worth a fortune  ::) I'v not seen many mid skool F&F fetch big money, but I think I may watch this just out of interest  :)  I would say around £180 tops  ???

I wouldn't say any GHP made after 85 was a properly collectable GHP but yes, he writes like he is sitting on something uber rare and special. Still, it's his frame, I doubt i'd sell the 'pride of my collection' though......

would be good to see a mid frame go mental, £250ish would be realistic compared to similar ilk previously listed

£200 and Reserve not met, given he wants £500 its going to be a high reserve.
