i remember back in the days when you had tyres like that.
it was like playing russian rulet, knowing if you skid in the wrong place bang, top days.
and burning a curved hole in your trainers, where you used them to stop on the back tyre.

I remember an older lad round our way BITD doing the biggest skid ive ever seen and his tyre looked like that afterwards. All us younger kids were well impressed...lol

back in the day white raliegh shopper tyres were just the thing for long skids on a fresh black road. lol.
