Been some bike swapping going on with the kids so have 16inch GT to play with. Thinking about doing another retro theme. But my GT knowledge is not very good. Any ideas as to what might come out OK. Yellow/Black Chrome colour scheme is what I have in mind
Was thinking about yellow F&F and bars. Wont mess with the wheels to much hassle. Chrome crank/spider? Layback post. I've had a look in the museum. Chrome backed decals.
What sort of era/year would this be. Seen some with the same sort of TT with GT embossed in the end.
Will take off the chain cover tabs and brake cable tabs in favour of clips. Some in the musuem have drilled rear drop outs, dont think I have room for that.

colour wise, i'd go for white f+f rather than yellow :daumenhoch:

I forsee a spate of Retro Pit Bike projects coming...
build off perhaps?
Yellow is a typical old school colour for GT, but so is white, and to a much lesser extent blue. It's the decals that will make it work I think. Like your Redline.
Have fun!

I've just done my redline retro white. Had it done by SBD. The stem I painted looks beige in comparison to Dan's powder. Doing this on the cheap. ::)
