Just came across this thread over on the Museum... http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=128404&p=1
Most of us have seen the website and ordered the odd bit from him but I wasn't aware of this  A shop full of high-end BMX stuff and, apparently, none of it's for sale...
Amongst other things, he has a pile of those rather expensive Hutch tyres that Munners posted the other day
Ramraid, anyone? >:D
All I can say is WOW.
-
Most gob smacked 15 mins of my life
-
Holy crap
-
Ive spoke to him so many times recently on the phone.
He wont budge an inch with his prices and i have bought quite alot from him too.
You thought Biagio was hard work!!! Nice bloke though. :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
Never knew it was like that.  Who would ever go there though. Seems a ghost town.
His prices havent really gone up but with the price of the Euro and postage its not worth the aggro.
Love that Patterson. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Wonder why he keeps it like that? All the bikes look like they have been cleaned. No dust. :D
-
My favorite thread for ages BTW. :4_17_5:

Can you imagine stumbling on a shop like that somewhere :LolLolLolLol:

This reminds me of when / why, when I was 11, I used to cycle my BMX 8 miles to spend a few hours LOOKING in Hotshots shop. Not even buying anything, just looking! That place looks almost exactly the same. So so good.

Didn't someone link this way back on VBMX? Still cool to see, i love the Ultra Box with the OS decals. :smitten:

Some people reckon that Biaggio has travelled around Europe looking for bike shops to clear out - don't know how true that is but it wouldn't surprise if he hadn't been in there trying to buy him out :)
I'm sure some of Rainers stock (from the website) comes from Shiners anyway. I remember asking for some stuff a few years ago and he said it was out of stock but he could order it from his supplier in the UK :-\
-
I'm gonna start walking to Germany as soon as I get my shoes on
-
Would love to spend a day building some of his framesets up then thrashing them...massive skidz on them HUTCH tyres all day long :LolLolLolLol:
-
:4_17_5:
-
Speechless!
-
Mad. :daumenhoch:
-
Rainer was a really good racer, he raced on Zeronine the same time as me, in fact we swapped frames at the international in Lowestoft in 1986 as he wanted a black one and I fancied his chrome one.
His Dad is awesome, just lovely lovely guys, Rainer used to have a mad custom American pick up too.
I can't see him selling that stuff ever....
-
