Ok Ok.... My BMX knowledge starts to thin out after 1986 and i dont really like new school bikes..... So what am i doing buying an Elf Double Cross frame forks and bars... ?
Well i always liked the design of the Double Cross and i think it will be a future collectable. Does anyone have any more info on the Elf Double Cross please? thx :daumenhoch:

ELF made an alloy Doublecross in I think very late 90's or early 2000 but from memory it was only a pro size frame. I much prefer the original chromoly Doublecross. I always wanted a chromoly Doublecross frame & forks and a set of Blast bars.... Actually I still do want one but they are hard to find these days. I remember riding my mates one a few days after he built it up and it was well balanced and had very comfortable geometry. The Doublecross test they had in BMX Plus! was very favourable (I think Alan Foster test rode it if my memory is correct).

Thanks for the info m8. I am 99% sure that the Elf Double Cross frame and forks i am getting is chro-mo and it has the Elf bars too.
And it might be for sale if you are interested ;)
We will see how much i fall in love with it when it arrives :smitten:

i've got a magazine with an ad for a doublecross from 1996 so i'm not too sure on the exact timeline of these frames? i'll dig it out later & try to scan you a copy ;)
