I can't wait that long  :LolLolLolLol: Just curious to know what it is as I really liked DF's stuff in the 90's and always kept an eye on what was going on, but can't think of what your frame could be, I'm wondering if it's one of the low end completes they did.

OK,just picked this thing up,had a quick look of it last night and wanted a few things off it,the rest means nothing to me as i'm pretty clueless with stuff of this age, anyway frame looks like a cheap version to me,lad reckons its a dragonfly, but god knows,Not sure on the forks now either after i've seen it propally, bars are nice, look like they have been cut down, any help on this appreciated, just want rid of most of it,keeping the cranks (not chainwheel) and stem.
Help please.......

I thought that too Dan, just the brake location isn't right for a Shorty is it??

actually that does look like a shorty

the screamers had chainstay nounts :uglystupid2: the only thing that looks a bit weird to me is the distance from the bottom of the head tube to the bottom of the down tube. i would defo be interested in buying it if you sell it jay :daumenhoch:

dont think its a shorty 'cause there's no coaster bracket ,could be an xposure ox? or a shorty copy cyclesport use to sell ?nice to see it built up  :daumenhoch:

Adding to bmxbert's comment, the seatpost/platform was different on a Screamer. However, I think there was a frame below it that may have had a few differences, might've been Tri-Moly? Damned if I can remember its name, though.
Was it a Ruler?

Did standard frames have that hole in the chain stay gussett behind the BB?

Those do look like Mk2 Ditchforks. The ones that I forgot to put in my S&M forks thread, cos I dont have any  :crazy2:

I think Alex should have the forks - the Oxford S&M Bikes museum needs 'em  ;)

With all the is it a Standard is it a Dragonfly? I thought it was funny that the ride mag I found the bike test in has a Dragonfly advert with Mike S clearly riding a Standard Shorty!
