Hey fellas, thought I would post this up.... it's a hoot!!!
Was reading through an ebay listing for a TA frame and got to this part.....
"The frame is straight, dropouts show very minor wear. The brake bridge does have slight crimping (see pic) but this is easily hidden by the brake and can also be corrected if you wish with a pair of pliers."
.... then looked at the pic
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/m22/cheekythirtysix/0e92_1.jpg)
:wtf: :2funny: ... SLIGHT CRIMPING!!! :2funny: What! Slight crimping as in it's just been hit by an IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER!!!
Pissin me pants here at that one.... some dudes have some strange ideas about accurate descriptions!
Here's the listing anyways... enjoy!

Well for $250 i think its a bargain! i mean that clamping is a tad nasty but it seems a good frame for thrashing it about or even racing it, the chrome looks good so will only need a slight polish to get it looking mint and the dropouts seem gorgeous! a good buy if you ask me :daumenhoch:

Crush was a problem Skyway had with the rear straight brake bridges which is why they introduced the curved with the built in washer. Much tougher.

With the forks it might be worth it - without them, it's way too much IMO :-\

My jap made (pre US straight bridge) has the curved bridge with built in washer. Why change only to change back (if they did change back, as I thought all US TA's were straight bridge)?
