got a few trinkets from sbc this week ,some hard as hell to find some prototypes some ideas.
just got to decide what im going to do ,but the proto lite sta frames staying as it is...
love the un brake mod cant ever find them and the hub guards cool
the pedals are mahooosive ..

its a nice piece of kit foresure ,i have the other version this ones 1lb lighter faster head angle
but generally the same with the engraved like chris jobs .sorry hard pic to see

no chris was to much looot ,but i did get something rather special from rick but will post when hes sorted refurbishing it.

bulge has a one piece machined standard 48h coasterbrake hub shell. can anyone beat that?

this is my only rare rare part i guess,its a 1 of 1 gardener standard from before waterford
the 1 0f 1 bit is its the only one with si engraved in the top tube,rick is restoring it for me at the moment .

Is that frame from the same timeframe as the batch sbc refused & became basic bikes first frames?

yep something like that good memory they produced 180 gardener frames ,they didn't really meet what was wanted .
rick kept this one thou so thought it had better come to a good home.

im just in my mid faze again..i have most of the s&ms bar 1 so getting the sbc stuff sorted big effort thou.

just had the word non of the frames rearly made it to production rick , kurt and bill didnt like the way
the frames got made most had issues wonky bits not well made so waterford made the proper ones
the frames that got made are what became as you said basic bikes.
the one above is one he just kept but is part of the sbc family and only one engraved si so boolarks it had to be sourced :)
