Post by: thecaptain on April 29, 2009, 04:53 PM
Hi guys

Finally recieved these in the post this morning after years of searching, cost me a fair bit, majority of it was in the Import duty and VAT as it was caught by customs (bastards)

they are 1st gen original everything, chrome 175mm buts a bit of chrome flaking around the spindle boss

Bet you're stoked :daumenhoch: Now don't go ride 'em or they'll break!  I bet there's not many of the first ones left.

I do remember these but not too clearly, is the crank arm slightly ovalized on the 1st ones or just a straight tube? does the tubing narrow from top to bottom?

what is it with folk and alberts?

lets be honest, they were shit and most snapped,

i've never had a feeling to use them on a resto as to me they make the bike "un-rideable"

i'd always be scared of snapping them and the probable spiral fracture of the tibia that would ensue :LolLolLolLol:

profiles>alberts,

guns for show.......knives for a pro ;)

Joe, you are totally right, but I used my set for years. Never had any problems with them.

I like to think of PA cranks as the 90s version of Hutch aerospeeds.
