looking forward to the meeting in birmingham so i got a chain and thought id give me a bike a bit of a spin !
theres quite a bit of movement in the bottom bracket area on the chainwheel side causing the chain not to run through straight sending the chain off line , hence causing a clicking noise like im on a b4stard motorbike , has anyone got any solutions apart from buying a complete new crankset , if anyone out there who has a clue about the techincal side of bmx bikes , as i havent , would mind having a quick look at epic i would appreciate it , , can you get the bottom bracket assembleys for these, ill probalbly only ride it a few times a year , but sounds rough as it is
thanks in advance

Take the arm off, have a look inside the spindle hole on the arm to see if there is any rough metal around the edges, if so file them down for a more snug fit.
Only other thing I can think of is that you are using the wrong sized spindle, as Redline 400's and Turbo cranks use a slightly fatter spindle.

There should be some impressed numbers etc on the spindle... They should say Sugino cv-p with a B underneath.
The square spindle ends on my Turbo spindle are 13mm square(outside to outside).
I hope this helps a bit.
