My age group, however by 1987 I was pretty much fooked every weekend and could barely stand up let alone ride a BMX.  :LolLolLolLol:

Those guys did well to reach the final -  there were 71 riders (9 gates) in the 17+ that time with 1\8, 1\4 & 1\2 to get through. Does anyone know what Kim Carbutt's up to these days? Maybe he'll do a 'Gary Morgan' and turn up out of the blue at this years Brits and blitz the 40+  :2gunsfiring_v1:
