Title: Is this a Pro Class .....

frame number - M4J11876?

The bloke whos selling it reckons its a PC though I dont think so....and the photo he sent me seems a bit dodgy too. Any ideas?

rear chain stays and down tube look thin to me  like  ?

OK - ill see what he says.  I thought someone may have a list of frame numbers or something...it also looks like there may be a Pro Class rub-on on the down tube - not that that proves much but it helps...!

usually those serials that start with M means Merida made ie taiwan
and they didn't make the pro classes

also as said already the rear stays are too skinny
and they sit high on the seat tube by the top tube

Im guessing not, as  up there  ^^^ ask him how many holes in the break bridge & where is the serial # on the frame.

Im also guessing hes read it off the Pro class power disk ;)

hear  is  a  couple of  pictures  of the  chain stays they are as thick as the crank arms

and the  serial number  should be stamped  hear

and  if  i am  right  the  bottom bracket  should be machined out for the bearing cups  . mines is

and look at the serial number shown above and compare to ebay auction
No M so its a good ole US of A made frame
and stamped into the C section not on the bot brkt shell

that auction is a cali or a expert

Yep - bloke said it was a Californian and he just took the Pro Class off the cranks........
