Title: can anyone id a frame for me i believe its got everybody stumped came from usa
Post by: daffyduck on February 19, 2006, 04:50 PM: hi need this frame id for me what i realy want to know is it a mongoose plus realy need to know its model anyone that can help i would be grateful the frame is stamped I J 4 4 6 3 2 this is a hard one to get identified

a dont know hows frame that is but its not mine mine has two square box sections and a plated front gusset with a round hole in centre

Post by: Coastvl on February 23, 2006, 11:01 AM: It has a chain gaurd mount. It aint a Mongoose. The gussets look all wrong too! Maybe an Ammaco. I don't know. The Serial number doesn't match up either.

thanks orb one of my problems is i dont have the frame yet waiting for it to arrive so this possibly isnt a mongoose but it is coming from america so i would like to find out what it is so i can restore it right help :-\

Post by: billstup on February 25, 2006, 03:02 PM: It looks a lot like that DeCoster on the bay, the only thing that looks different is the shape of the hole in the gusset, although that may just be the angle that the photos that orb has put up are taken at :daumenhoch:
