Title: skyway ta help
Post by: stu27 on May 09, 2009, 07:53 PM
had my TA for 10 months now and would like to jiggle it about a bit,the colur schemes pretty standard with anno blue parts, white tuffs and blue seat, tyres and grips
ive been thinking maybe blue tuffs/zeds with black tyres but i might go for red parts
i could do with some input from other radsters,oh and it is a rider as well
cheers
stu :daumenhoch:

Have a look in the museum - plenty of different builds in there to get some ideas from  :daumenhoch:

It doesn't matter what anyone else says anyway, build it how you want it  ;)

Seen a few with a mix of blue and red on here too - think it's all about getting the balance right if you go that way though  :-\

Get some pics up of how she is now mate  :)

Personally i like to fook around in various photo apps on my PC before i decide how i'm going to distribute my colourways on my builds but that's just me  :LolLolLolLol:

Is it a white or chrome TA?  Personally I think any TA suits red, blue or a mix or colours, but white lookbetter with white or coloured tuffs, where as chrome TA's suit black tuffs more.  White ones also suit coloured tyres more than the chrome ones too.

Heres a couple of mine, the first as I originally built it (using mainly parts that came with), and the second pic is howI recently rebuilt it.  Its going in BOTM when I get a few more pics as ive just changed a couple of parts that improve it so didnt want to enter it early.  All I really want now is a solid red tuf/pro neck chain wheel to replace the Sugino.

If you have a whirte frame then i think black tuffs (gotta be alloy hubbed as they look the nuts) with black tires, a nice Sugino 1 piece, a powerdisc and blue Sugino chainring :smitten: :smitten: thats what i want on my T/A if i can ever own one :smitten:

Just a padset on that will look the biz :daumenhoch:

Other than that, a blue stem would balance the blue seatclamp, but with a padset it would be hidden anyway.

Reckon a blue stem will look nice on that build Stu - just looking at the picture you posted up mate, and I don't want to be a nob here mate, and it could just be the angle of the picture, but have you got a 2.125 on the rear and a 1.75 on the front  :-\

Soz if I'm wrong  :-X
