AFTER AFEW YRS NOW ON OLD/MID BIKES IM GONNA HANG EM UP AND TRY NEW SCHOOL RACIN ON A 20 ,,,NO CRUISERS THOUGH

SO ON LOOKOUT FOR A NICE NEW SCHOOL 20

ANY THOUGHTS ON BIKES ,,GET EM ON HERE ,,LET ME KNOW WAT WORKS THESE DAYS

SO YEH THERE COULD BE A MINT ELF F/F UP SOON

Russ, best thing to do is have a look around the paddock at the races and keep tabs on what people are riding.  Try to cadge a go on as many as you can, then decide.

Complete bikes are OK, but can sometimes be a false economy cos you'll end up changing most of the bits.

If you want a pure tin can race bike, Crupi, Supercross, Avent, Free Agent, Haro, Redline, SE, etc are popular.

If you want something with some cro-mo soul/roots, then the usual suspects.

I HAVE A FEW IN MIND ,,SUPERCROSS,,S&M,

BUT USED TO A STEEL RIDE AFTER THESE OLDIES SO MIGHT GO FOR A 38 SPECIAL OR EVEN LOOK AT YA DIALLED FRAMES

ALL THE BITS OFF ME ELF XCEPT STEMM AND BB WILL GO ON NEW RIDE

 :) Dialled would be the obvious choice,though the S&M & Supercross R-CR frames are well worth a look. :daumenhoch:

Not sure you will like my current frames Russ as you didn't keep the last one long because of the short back end and these ones have the same geometry.  Don't want you spending your money on summat that's not right for ya.

Thought you'd been quiet - always cooking up something new.  ;D

I'm going to race 20" over the winter so perhaps we will get to race together after all.  But then again...
