Title: FIRST BUILD - updated pics, been to DELS
Post by: nhoj on May 26, 2009, 10:40 PM
I originaly got back into BMX because I wanted a firebird freestyler that I didnt get back in the day.  After much searching I found one on the bay.

Then I found RAD and went to MK08, saw the racing and thought I would have ago.

Put a wanted search on here for a cheap old school racing bike to get me started but had no joy.

Then found a newly re-coated ammaco f&f on ebay and the hunt for cheap parts was on..................

The whole idea behind the bike was that I had to keep the costs down as much as possible and that it didn't have to be true to the original.

I have since been told that the folks are not ammaco and are tange? we think

Got to give a BIG THANKS to Decal Del and MotomagII Greg for all there help with construction!!!!! :daumenhoch: :4_17_5:

The firebird I bought and stripped down. Donated some parts to Ammaco to keep costs down

Thanks mate.

Not to confuse anyone, the white freestyler at the top of thread and the yellow one at the bottom, are not the same bike!!

The white one got stripped down and has just come back from Super Bike Dans.

The yellow one is a surviver from a friends garage.
