Hello chaps
Here's a build that I finished last week. I wanted a ride that I'd be happy clamping a trailer onto as there was obviously no way I was going to clag anything onto my Hutch, so I found me a stock 2004 OM Flyer and started from there. I colour matched the old dark blue / light blue combo that SE used bitd and most of the parts I used are old and new mtb bits to keep the cost down to a minimum. Me and my lad took it out on Saturday for it's first ever run and it was perfect. These OM's are great for tanking along and after a while I forget the trailer was even bolted on to it. Hopefully it'll make an ace pub chariot too....
Big thanks goes out to Gossa, Martin and everyone else at Bikelab for all their help and endless patience, and Del for making me a perfect set of decals. :daumenhoch:
Cheers, Bob :)
So here's what I started off with...

Thanks for the nice comments. Parts rundown is:
* 2004 OM f&f
* S&M 5.75" race bars
* S&M 39t Motoman sprocket with an 18t Shimano freewheel
* Izumi chain
* Twin pinch 175mm Flights
* New school Shimano DX pedals
* Araya RM-17 Super-Hard graphite rims on standard SE Formula hubs
* Schwalbe City Jet tyres (the only new-school slicks I could find with an amber wall)
* Shimano Pro PST seatpost with Hope clamp and a Specialized saddle
* Shimano XTR rear brake with Kool-Stop pads
* A'me Tri's
* Profile stem
* NOS SE frame pad
Whole lot came in at about £400 but a fair old few of the bits came from my stash, so in reality another nifty or so on top of that. And I would be really interested in any Mini Rippers that may be floating around out there... ;)
Cheers, Bob
