Title: dyeing again
Post by: Rombloke on February 22, 2006, 10:55 PM
mmm...had a go at dyeing a tuff wheel tonight with excellent results, when i started it was dirty and very faded, hit it with a little wet and dry and lots of scrubbing, then dropped it in a tub with two pots of dylon multi purpose dye, 750g of salt and enough bouling water to cover the wheel, then stirred constantly for ten mins, then let sit for a further ten......

dragged it out and was amazed....i always thought this was a load of rollocks, but it does work

im stoked with the result.....just need to pick the rear up from olliver now to complete the set....excellent
