Title: Robinoson Pro
Post by: Glynnyboy on May 30, 2009, 11:21 AM
I got this f/f  stem and bars off Dex Dexter a few month ago. It took me a while to scrub all the sheep shite off it after riding it around at the burner bash earlier this month. Anyway after a wash and a couple of pics here it is.
I chose blue purley because i haven't seen a blue one before  :D . I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Robinson Bars, Frame and Forks
TNT stem
dc 901 calliper
SR Seatclamp
Araya Aero's on Suzue hubs
Sugino Powerdisc & Chainring
Redline cranks
Oddyseyy Pedals
Tioga seatpost
Kashimax aero seat
Ame grips

A massive thanks to Jonothan(buttbikeshop) for the resto work. :coolsmiley:
I also had buttsbikeshop put the inch back on the bars and he did a cracking job.
Hope you like.

Nice work Glynn, are you bringing that beauty to race at Yeadon ?

That's hopefully the plan. The block paving unfortunatly leads straight into a garage door ;D At least it will get me used to the pain when hitting the dirt.
Cheers simon, i did hear a rumour somewhere that your partial to a robinson ;) :coolsmiley:

Neat and tidy build  :4_17_5:

Buttsbikeshop seem pretty good guys; have picked up a few things off them in the past and all have been spot on  :daumenhoch:

Buttsbikeshop is just one guy. He loves doing restoration and has contacts with all the necessary to get the job done, doing all prep work himself. The name is a joke really, he used to fix all the kids bikes on his estate bitd from the base of his grandma's shed. The shed became known as buttsbikeshop. ;D 8) He still fixes em for the kids now a days, just the kids are all fast approaching 40 now.

The signature on the plate is Craig Schofield's . I met him at the recent burner bash and he was kind enough to sign the plate on my robinson, it may bring me some luck :coolsmiley:

Well there you go!  I picked up a few things off the bay from him and always thought it was a proper bike shop  ;D .
