John is a top guy, lives now in Oz, he got one of those Bashguards off me, he is also making the trip to Germany in July, so will get to meet him  :coolsmiley:

I'm pretty sure it was at the plate joining the seattube to the double top tube

Didn't they break at the BB? I thought cos they were only supported by two tubes, then the twisting you get from riding was breaking them... Mind you I had an Airmaster and it never had that problem...
