-

-
pm bmx796 and he will send you pics im sure .they look like the ones sandro has on that bike there but with the forks to suite.
-
they chrome with blck flec on?i see some on the bay a while ago.i have some black rims which i got cheap
might build them up or keep looking
-
They are actually matt silver with a black flame design. Cool for a mid school build.
-
Those are Odyssey T1000 rims I was telling you about. My advice would be to get the rims from somewhere like ebay here's a link to the guy I've had my sets from. You could ask him if he's got any in plain alloy colour.

I had a set of these rims laced to a set of TNT derringer hubs which spin so smoothly it's incredible. You could have a really strong good running wheelset for just under £100, and they'll be brand spankers as well. As I've said I've got two sets of these rims laced to the TNT hubs and I'm so impressed.
The TNT is sold by Mark that owned and manufactered TNT back in the day. Good bloke as well.

-
San, what does the stamp say in your rear dropout? Pro, L, XL ect?
-
San's is XL. All the Amtrac models were XL sized frames if I remember corectly. Not many of those about either.
-
Are you sure? I have an XL and it only has a 20.5 top tube, I thought the Amtrac was 21".
-
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/d199/wolfybmx/haropro003.jpg)
only 21 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........... this is a contender for the longest top tube ever, a full 22.5 pro xxl ;D ;D
-
Stop posting that HARO PLATE, it was me you out bid for it :(

Quality frame/forks mate, had my eyes on one of these on the bay a few months back, got outbid at the last minute as per usual :uglystupid2:,is it for riding or showing.

I love my red one. not sure if I've ever showed a picture of it before, but here it is.
It's not got different wheels on it and the bars have been changed as has the seatpost, but apart from that it's still the same.
-
not sure about riding it might get it dirty lol.gona get a red one aswell after this, then brake into zippy,s gaff rade the fridge and nik all his parts off his red one lol
-
I purchased ane of thsoe a few weeks back for my return to racing,
Its quick and twitchy, but hard to manual, lol !!
Moving up to new school soon, but will probably keep it for old school racing !

-
YES THE OLD BIKES ARE VERY TWITCHY. TRY RIDING A OLD SCHOOL IN A RACE MEET AS WELL AS A NEW SCHOOL BIKE. TAKES SOME DOING I CAN TELL TOTALLY DIFFERANT RIDING STYLES.
-
The Amtrac is 21" top tube, with an almost equally long back end LOL. Sure it's about 17.5" or something daft. It rides and jumps really well and is stable and neutral on the track, but don't ask it what a manual is.
-
San does it have XXL stamped in the rear dropout?
Bren
-
Not that I noticed, but will take a look at the weekend if I remember.

I'm looking forward to seeing all these built up real soon. I'm going to take some time to clean mine this week and I'll take a picture of it as soon as I can as it's set up a little different to how it looks in the picture above. I've tried to lower it slightly by ditching the GT pro bars and putting on some Crupi ProAl's and the different wheels, not to mention a straight post. It's a good little race bike now.
-
Come on then Gezza, let's see it. It must be finished by now.
