Title: me built up shaman
Post by: christhejob on June 03, 2009, 05:49 PM
here's the shaman sbd worked magic on.
thanks to frosty for taking it and getting it, and laz for the stickers..
just the mish mash of mid and late 90s and a little early noughties parts i had on my old trls250..   the back end is the heaviest thing ever, must be the horrible alex rim (supra something.. with the worst chrome job ever.. nice suzue ie superpro hub on it. minty)
I had to carjack the dropouts open to get the backwheel in though.........

sex wee comes out.

very nice job the(re) chris

 :4_17_5:

you have maybe the second sexiest location for photos too, after that grey wall I keep seeing on here with gorgeous bikes in front of it.

as for 3 piece cranks, check out them ones on ebay from cyclesport, £50

or is that a bit extravagant (spelling?) for river jumping?

That's cool as :daumenhoch: Supra E on the back, heavy as! I've cheated with the rims for my Sabbath & used Supra E lites. Great build there!

thanks for your lovely comments, i love the location too, it's outside my front door.. like being on holiday at home, you'd never think it existed in essex!
i've got a front superpro on it, it's waffer light compared to the back.. (it's the original superpro i bought when i went mad in the states with my first custom brand new build in, oh jesus august 91.. wow 18 years nearly.)
my back groans at this beast even when i open the garage door and just see it...

i gotta say chris i enjoyed sorting that frame out, think it was the challenge

of how rusty it was, worst one to restore and really pleased with the result :daumenhoch:
