BEFORE - well beaten and the chrome rails were shot which was a real shame :(

It's actually alot easier than it looks ... use a high impact adhesive on both surfaces, leave it to partially dry (until tacky) and hey presto :daumenhoch:

Stunning steve, looks fab :4_17_5:

I'm a bit partial to chrome rails, but looks like you made the right decision painting them, at least it looks clean now
Did you use a bit of foam before the covering? It looks like a "light padded" one compared to the originals (and I'm quite partial for those too :LolLolLolLol:)
Excellent results anyhow :smitten:
Going on another perfect SE ? ;)
-
Nice one chap! :4_17_5:

Thanks Arnaud ... it's definitely ready for another SE build which I'm hoping to complete soon :daumenhoch:
As for the rails ... I'd have had them rechromed if they were easy to remove :( there's no padding used here either ... just a decent grade leather which is quite thick on its own !!
