Title: Cooking a seat
Post by: Gary72 on June 06, 2009, 08:43 PM
Inspired by the dyeing of grips. Wanted a pivotal seat for Harrison's bike, saw Rad shops offer for £30 for seat and post. But alas no blue. So thought I'd try dyeing my green one blue. First attempt ended up with a horrid colour. Should have bleached it first.
Left the seat in bleach to get rid of horrid colour and get the stitching back to white. Last night had another go with the Madonna blue dylon. Stitching abit on the dark side but a nice side affect is the logo hole.
Will now get onto Stodgy and order a new green seat and post for myself.
