My little trip today. Lets hope we can get it operating for the Scottish Old School Series. Untouched since BITD and hold up well I was really surprised. The start hill still looks scary even now.

Last 20% of the track has gone to make way for an all weather track and pitch. However there is land behind the 2nd and 3rd straights so it could be extended again

i flipped off the back on the final jump there in a race and bent my elina ul seatpost forwards.

I used to live in Glenrothes in the 70's. Went to Caskibairn school which was up on the hill.

Thanks for doing the recee Mark. I suppose there is potential to hold races there and get the Fifers interested. A proper start gate would be ideal though.

Loving the track Marc. There's so much potential up here. It looks a bl**dy fast track but I bet that step up was a killer bitd.

hi lads kevin duffy here...pic brings back memories that bike would be worth a fortune now lol,.i stay about 500yds from the track...as you can see the track has lasted well, i,m not sure if the track will be there beyond 2011 as there is planned demolition of the sports centre ...which will be replaced with a new more advanced sports centre by 2011/12 ,..as for the track i will have a look at the plans in the sports centre to see if it will still be there.

  start gate is still there i think..just not the starters release pedal.
  the track would  still be fast..but would need a good days brushing ..as its slippy as f**k.

no  nothing has changed yet but they have already exspanded the college...there is also plans to have 200 parking spaces for the sports centre...but dont no what side they will be on till i see the plans.
